In times when words such as eco-friendly are more and more significant the re-use concept has become important in the fashion world.
From these aspects and the culture of renewal, an initiative has taken shape that seems to really revolutionize the normal approach to shopping: not just purchasing but exchanging that reassesses the value of items that you already possess.
Thanks to the new collaboration with Angelo Caroli, for one year, Tessabit customers shall have the opportunity to “share” their own Vintage with new seasonal clothes.
By taking an appointment with the experienced A.N.G.E.L.O. staff, your clothes could be evaluated and if withdrawn, customers shall receive an allowance which may be paid or, if taken to one of the Tessabit shops, replaced with a coupon increased by 30%.
You can also renew the clothes in your trunk which have been left there for some time, tied to a loved one, or to the name of your family, donating them to Angelo Caroli’s Archives; a way to expose and admire them through the many manifestations of A.N.G.E.L.O.
This is a unique and innovative idea, positively welcomed by customers who flocked to the opening night of Thursday 7 June.
For the occasion, a “temporary Vintage store” was set up in the Tessabit store located in Piazza Cavour, a stone’s throw from the lake, and e-shop www.tessabit.com, both operating until Monday, June 25.
Customers then can choose between the seasonal clothes and an assortment of 300 high-end vintage items selected for the occasion.
There was also an exhibition of items from A.N.G.E.L.O.‘s Archive representative of the past decades; an Yves Saint Laurent of the eighties from Liza Minelli‘s private closet, and Emilio Schubert of the fifties donated by the Iaconiani family of Como.

In tempi in cui sono sempre più significative parole come eco-friendly ed ecosostenibile, il concetto di ri-uso è diventato importante anche nel mondo della moda.
Da questi aspetti e dalla cultura del rinnovo, ha preso forma un’iniziativa che sembra davvero rivoluzionare il normale approccio allo shopping: non più solo un acquisto, ma uno scambio che rivaluta il valore dei capi che già si possiedono.
Grazie alla nuova collaborazione con Angelo Caroli, per un anno, i clienti Tessabit avranno la possibilità di “scambiare” il proprio Vintage con capi nuovi di stagione.
Prendendo appuntamento con lo staff esperto di A.N.G.E.L.O., si potranno far valutare i pezzi del proprio guardaroba e, a fronte di un ritiro dei capi, i clienti riceveranno un assegno che potrà essere riscosso, oppure, se portato in uno dei negozi Tessabit, sostituito da un buono maggiorato del 30%.
Sarà anche possibile dare nuova vita a quegli abiti chiusi in baule da tempo, legati ad una persona cara o al nome della propria famiglia, donandoli all’Archivio di Angelo Caroli; un modo per farli esporre ed ammirare attraverso le numerose manifestazioni di A.N.G.E.L.O.
Idea unica e innovativa, accolta molto positivamente dai clienti che sono accorsi numerosi alla serata inaugurale di giovedì 7 Giungo.
Per l’occasione, è stato allestito un “temporary store” Vintage all’interno del negozio Tessabit di Piazza Cavour, a due passi dal lago, e sull’e-shop www.tessabit.com, entrambe attivi fino a Lunedì 25 Giugno.
I clienti quindi, potranno scegliere tra i capi di stagione ed un assortimento di 300 capi vintage di alta gamma selezionati per l’occasione.
È stata inoltre allestita una mostra di capi provenienti dall’Archivio A.N.G.E.L.O. rappresentativi dei decenni passati, da un Yves Saint Laurent anni ottanta proveniente dal guardaroba privato di Liza Minelli ad un Emilio Schubert degli anni cinquanta donato dalla famiglia Iaconianni di Como.
La serata inaugurale ci ha visto protagonisti, avvolti da un’atmosfera chillout, creata dai suoni di un sassofono jazz e dalla musica coinvolgente di Radio Montecarlo. Amici, clienti e blogger di Tessabit hanno condiviso momenti indimenticabili incorniciati dalla bellezza del lago di Como.
